Why should I upload pictures?

Whether you are offering a room or looking for one, uploading pictures to your ad/profile will improve your experience on the site and help you find what you are looking for five times faster!

All users can add up to 8 pictures online.

How can I upload my pictures?

To upload your photos, you need to log in to your account and:

Go to “My ads”
Select your ad.
Click on “Manage Your Photos”
You can now upload, edit or delete your photos
Once you are ready to publish your ad, click on ‘Preview my ad’ and submit it.

What pictures can I add?

We have simple rules that help us keep the website consistent and ensure our members have an enjoyable user experience.

Before uploading your pictures, please check the following:

Quality:

If your pictures are of poor quality, your potential flatmates will be less likely to contact you. To ensure that your ad is attractive, your pictures must be:

Clear with a good lighting
Rotated correctly and in the order you would like them to appear on your listing
Listing Ad: If you are advertising a room, the first photo must be of the room or property you are offering. Not a picture of yourself. If you are looking for a room, the picture should be of you or members of your group, if you are registered as a group or a couple.

Format:

Uploaded images should be in one of the following formats: JPEG, GIF, PNG or BMP.

Content:

Any pictures that contain the following will be removed:

Contact details or URL links
Street name or house number
Watermark
Nudity
Animals - unless you are on the picture
Illegal activity
Third-party advertising
Children.

Why haven’t my photos appeared on the site yet?

As we are a classified platform, the content of our website is constantly reviewed by a dedicated team of moderators. The moderation process is a key element of our business, and this is to ensure that quality content is posted on the website.
